today i woke up feeling exuberant and thankful to God for my glorious new day!
although i got pissed off along the way thanks to the brother.
but today we watched stardust! and my daddy was so touched about us going to watch a movie today he gave a little speech about how we're all growing up and we're probably going to do this less often so we should do it more it's spending meaningful time together as a family.
then afterwards we went to eat traditional chinese desserts. it's very meaningful and satisfying.
so was stardust. i love happy endings, like priscilla gan who is leaving soon i'll miss you!!
but one very impactful observation i had today was of the kind that typically destroy endings that were meant to be happy.
mummy and i were taking the escalator down, and behind us was this couple(the hot female was dresssed in a SHORT black tent dress) and behind the couple was this pair of guys who were totally leering at her.
YUCK. they did everything old lusty men typically do except for the fact that they were really young. the entire package. the sideways leer, lustful stares, gawking, commentaries, whisper, snickers and staring staring staring
which got me thinking about whether there's an existence of a universal brotherhood of which the laws may go like Thou shalt not covet your fellow brother's girlfriend or wife, even if she's the most heavenly creature you've ever seen and she looks like she'll be better off with you. However, this does not apply if your fellow brother has a girlfriend and wife at the same time.
this is wrong behaviour! it can be linked to like, the sharp increase in divorces last year and the seven year itch which is no longer in existence, it's now the five year itch.
amoral!
but then females stare lustily at males too but mostly if they are unmarried. and those stares are mostly quite mild and accompanied with a lot of giggling particularly if the female is with other females.
reality is disappointing.
i shall turn to my newly discovered drama series like tian guo de shu which looks like maximum impact bawling material. i suddenly have the urge to cry my heart out watching stories that don't happen in real life.
stardust had this opening quote: are we human because we gaze at the stars or do we gaze at the stars because we are human? i think we gaze at the stars because we are human due to the fact that we always covet and are always uncontented.
CANDICE! â¥
