today after piano class i was going to top up my ezlink card when i got stopped by two malay youngsters trying to sell me a pen and who said they were from some entrepreneurial organisation who lets youngsters sell pens?
but first before all of that he asked me if i encourage others to take drugs
but even before that he asked if i could spare a few minutes
which confirms the fact, a gazillion and one times that i have a face that says "STOP ME PLEASE I WANT TO TALK TO YOU!"
and after i gave him 2 bucks
and before i eventually got to top up my card,
one sc girl stopped me to say: "Excuse me, i hope you know this but they might be fraudsters. The police are investigating."
so i just said okay, thank you
because it didn't even surprise me at all that they could be fraudsters.
i'm not that clear myself why i gave the 2 bucks to him though you can tell from the packaging, presentation and the very obvious lack of a license which i wanted to ask for but decided against and the fact that if you want to be entrepreneurial you obviously have to have nicer, better, more attractive products THAT, they're really probably fraudsters
but 2 bucks for self discovery is okay. i went away imagining a huge crime syndicate they could belong to along with probably a lot more impoverished teens and 2 bucks could add a bit to their lunch money or something before they get caught.
because i have that much faith in the judicial system of singapore.
