let's do a day-by-day recount
TODAY:
virgin option lesson - entrepreneurship!
rather enriching. interesting lecturer. although i really have the premonition that she'll turn nasty in due time. because she reminds me of miranda priestley aka meryl streep! she purses her lips to express slight disapproval alot. and she's sort of nice sometimes
options are really huge opportunities for us to learn alot. like how to kill time. today, i tried drinking soya milk ml by ml to pass the time away.

watched miss swan on youtube and went to the library etc! haha sigh tomorrow is a LONG day at SP. 1-6 please. X(
MONDAY:
last netball carnival of my rgs life X(
but 405 tohtahlee OWNED everyone else!
we got THIRD!
I LOVE 405! :)and there is nothing more to expand on because there aren't any whys and hows to loving 405. we are just plain lovable. funny and sweet and united and nonchalant and smart! and all the other good qualities in the world.
SUNDAY:
watched SINGAPORE DREAMING!
haha how lucky can my family get! we got tickets during the last 5 minutes at PS.
and little did we know that COLIN GOH AND THE WIFE were in the cinema too! dick su was also there. they came up to the front at the end of the movie to introduce themselves and all.
already suspected it when there were huge cheers erupting from the crowd before the movie.
it really is quite a good movie. delightfully littered with dialect and vulgarities and hokkien ditties. quite emotive. i cried during one scene when yeo yann yann was talking to the mother after richard low's death. i love yeo yann yann! such a cute and versatile and multilingual and talented actress. oh the movie has alot of truly singaporean references we can identify with albeit abit overplayed already. like the typical: "steven got 100 for spelling! how come you only got 95!" and urinating in the lift and PARKING TICKET and the 5Cs.
as such, to celebrate and support local production you should go watch SINGAPORE DREAMING too!
SATURDAY:
another buffet which makes this september truly a SCRUMPTIOUS, SINFUL, SATIATED SEPTEMBER. had a tung lok a la carte buffet to celebrate my dad's birthday at the country club X) the food was really, GOOD. therefore you get value for money. i either ate or sampled:
seafood platter(alot of sashimi :D )
roasted duck pancake
pigeon soup (great stuff!)
miso marinated beef tenderloin
deep fried soon hock
ostrich simmered with wine
sauteed scallops with celery
sashimi (again! haha)
deep fried sesame glutinous rice ball with lotus seed filling (what a [delicious]mouthful)
black sesame glutinous rice dumpling
red bean cream with lotus
gui ling gao (potent pls. very bitter)
VANILLA ICE CREAM! (heavenly man. rich creamy fragrant pure white delight!)
