happy national day!
singapore is 41!
yay pretty!
i was wondering if i would be more happy at kallang or watching ndp at home.
but today was a very sullen day. and i really felt the need to study. and i did!
first i woke up the earliest to go running! if my father's estimations are accurate i ran 6km!
but then i came back and my mum lambasted me for trying to lose weight and forced me to eat . yah so FAT lot of hope.
X(
and then my brother infuriated me by leaving the piano pieces at the pianoteacher's house.
RAWWR. and thus i played without the pedal that would muffle the sound like i usually do because the sound travels far and i don't want to irritate anyone. then i really banged on the keys.because the piano is also meant to be something to vent your emotions on right! and hoped everyone got angry too.
everyone has childish moments okay!
oh! when i was running i saw 3 dangling caterpillars!
i don't know why they dangle from the tree but it's really interesting.
got alot of potential for horror movie.
like some psycho captures you and puts you in a dark room!
then FLASH! the lights come on and you see thousands of dangling caterpillars.
and within a split second they start ballooning and growing and gnashing their (nonexistent)teeth.
then you get mauled by freak caterpillars.
whee byebye end of story.
pardon the gore.
i think it's not bad though can be another B list movie like those featured in the papers today. instead of snakes in the plane. can be caterpillars in the room!
okay on to more realistic stuff.
i think i'm really jaded.
like i was praying that terrorists wouldnt bomb the stadium before ndp started.
and i watched it without much feelings but i AM proud of Singapore okay! because of our achievements. doesn't that make us all proud Singaporeans?
yeah and i admit i was thinking what would happen if i could change the music while all the displays on the stadium grounds were going on. HEH.
oh but deyi was awesome man! others move according to the music but they change formations and move according to their own music somemore. really cool!
OH and then i realised im cynical too. because they kept showing clips of kids who will fulfill their lofty ambitions in Singapore right. and how Singapore is a place where dreams can be fulfilled right! which totally goes against what the government said in the past. because they accepted that Singaporeans can and must go abroad to earn a living/achieve more global city globalization! yeah then i really dont think we can fulfill our dreams in Singapore. but we can do so abroad and treat Singapore as our home. maybe that's what they should have meant.
yeah and then the whole day i kept thinking of work.
i bet deborah tan did too. she's a freak because she does all the worksheets from tuition and asks for more. (if you're reading this it's a compliment too deb! HAHA!)
so in conclusion national day wasn't much. but i will be happy cos the holidays are still on!
WHEE!
exams soon AHH!
and HELP my parents are playing the golden oldies in dialect now X.X
