so retrospective
hm in truth this isn't my first blog but i felt the urge to make a new one because i find it peculiar how i've so many thoughts these days.
and so! i need an avenue to publish all these thoughts but all in due time!
i just went running! just running and thinking and running and thinking. and now i feel really peaceful and not very surprised at the discovery of how introverted i can be.
yay so since this is the first authentic post i shall make it nice and long.
i woke up and went to check the papers for all the handphone adverts right away! i'm really determined to get my phone changed today. it must :
1) be a flip phone
2) be mp3-enabled
3)have a fast keypad response
4) look stylish!
5) not be big ( all the nokia/sony ericcson phones are so chunky it turns me off!)
hm and then when i stepped out of the house my neighbour's kids were staring at me from opposite! and the little boyboy was play peek-a-boo with me from behind his door. ahh so cute (:! it isn't the first time they're so interested in me opening the door haha it happens every friday night when i come home from tuition! i wonder why though.
racial harmony day wasn't that interesting. for one, i agree with the jianbao article on how it's quite superficial in the sense that racial harmony is just an event for us to sample other cultures' food and put on their costumes! i don't think many of us really understand other cultures but at least it's heartening how this society is friendly and rather frictionless. i guess it's not that easy to really understand other cultures too. my parents took me out of my first primary school because there were too many Malays. that's probably one of the barriers to racial harmony because we all hold assumptions to some extent.
it's rather regretful that i didn't stay on. i made many friends with many different races! like one Malay boy who won 2nd in class. (after me of course! (: ) and one Indian boy who boasted that he slept in an African forest once and we were all really excited about that. oh and one more Indian boy who chased me and his Indian girlfriend around the school. i still remember his name X.X my dad gave him a warning on speech day. HAHA. oh and my first best friend! a very sweet Indonesian girl named Susan! oh and how can i forget! there were two Chinese boys who immediately assumed the roles of "protectors" of Susan and I. they bought us presents quite a few times too. that was only in primary one :D
oh and haha one more cute thing that happened yesterday! JOELYNN AND JACQUELINE! the dance was really amusing and the hair was really the icing on the cake! kawaii neh! so pretty (:
rahh okay i shall go do work now. and go for ringers at the unearthly time of 1.30 to 5 . i'll be so glad when this concert is over. hope we don't screw up later! :(
does anyone know how to get slimmer thighs?
